Codes

Java Management Extensions (JMX) is a standard interface available for managing Java applications. It is possible to monitor and manage the FirstSpirit server using the JMX console.

Some information available as a graphic representation is also available within ServerMonitoring under the “Codes” entry.

Important This menu level is only available to server administrators.

Average Session Creation Rate: number of new sessions opened within the last 60 seconds (see SessionManager).

Media Write Operations Rate: media write operations per minute (see Media Manager).

TasksRunning: number of currently running actions (e.g. an indexing job or an event (see ExecutionManager).

ExecutionRate: number of tasks executed within the last 60 seconds (see ExecutionManager).

TasksQueued: if an action, such as indexing, is initiated internally, the corresponding task will first be placed in a queue (exception: high priority tasks). The value shown here provides the number of currently queued actions (see ExecutionManager).

TasksWaiting: number of actions already forwarded from the corresponding execution cue, but still waiting for execution in the internal thread pool (see ExecutionManager).

Schedule Entries Running: number of schedules currently running (see ).

Open Repositories: number of repositories open concurrently (see Repository Manager).

By default, the data of the last 21 days or since the last server restart is available.
