Monitoring
Sessions
This page shows a graph of the number of sessions that were simultaneously active on the server within the last 24 hours. The license-based sessions are indicated by the dark color and sessions that do not require a license are indicated by the light color. The horizontal black line indicates how many (license-based) sessions are permitted under the terms of the license (50 in this case) and can be opened at the same time. The number of non-license-based sessions is unlimited. The ServerMonitoring / Overview / Sessions chapter explains the different types of session.
When the maximum number of license-based sessions is reached, no further license-based sessions can be started. An exception is made for the server administrator. If there are not yet two sessions active for the “Admin” user, these can be started as well. This means it is possible to end individual sessions in ServerMonitoring under the Overview / Sessions menu item. As soon as the number of license-based sessions drops back below the permitted limit, normal users can log in again.
The period covering the active sessions shown can be changed as desired using the buttons Year, Month, Week, Day and Hour. Likewise, the button shifts the period by one category towards “Year” and the button shifts the period by one category towards “Hour”. The arrow buttons can be used to move the displayed period by one year (month, week, etc.) in the past or in the future , depending on the category set.
Clicking on the Show log button displays the server history log file for the selected period.
