Properties view

In this view, the attributes can be displayed for each table in the database schema. Here, the properties of the selected table will always be shown.

General:
This area displays the name of the selected table.

The Context menu associated with the table name can be used to perform the following functions:

  • Rename table (F2): A new name can be specified for the table.
  • Create column (C): Opens a window for defining a new table column.

Columns:
This area lists all the columns in the selected table. The relevant data type is displayed next to each column name.

The Context menu associated with each table column can be used to perform any of the following functions for that column:

  • Rename column (Shift+F2): A new name can be specified for the table column.
  • Remove column (Shift+Del): The selected column is deleted from the table.
  • Properties: A window opens containing the properties defined for the column. (In the case of the “String” data type, the maximum length is also included, for example.) No changes can be made here.

Important Table templates and queries must be adapted manually to reflect any changes made to the schema.
