Defining a menu structure from the page store

Using drag-and-drop to reference pages

A faster way to include new menu levels and page references in the menu structure is to use the drag-and-drop functionality in FirstSpirit.

This allows you to use your mouse to drag the page to be referenced, for instance, from the page store to the desired menu level in the site store. A new page reference is then added at this spot automatically.

It is also possible to use the mouse to drag a folder from the page store to the desired menu level in the site store. A new menu level is then created automatically for this folder and for all of its subfolders and a new page reference is created for all of the pages beneath it.

Using drag-and-drop also makes it extremely easy to reproduce the folder structure of the page store in the menu structure of the site store.
