FirstSpirit Enterprise Connect

This document provides an overview about the basic architecture of the module "FirstSpirit Enterprise Connect" and describes all functions and requests. This module requires a license.

Using a so-called "Braintribe Content Service Plattform" (CSP) a layer is provided for connecting different storage areas, systems and applications. Via this layer data or contents of different backend systems can be integrated into FirstSpirit. This data can be scanned using several connectors, for example documenta and index values from a SAP system or from an Exchange Server. The returned objects can be integrated and persisted in FirstSpirit as well as copied and output when generated.

FirstSpirit provides an efficient and interapplication integration of contents by this module using connectors of the Braintribe Content Service Plattform Server (CSP-Server).

The module "FirstSpirit Enterprise Connect" (EPC) supports amongst others the following functions:

Providing editorial content from third-party systems (SAP, Exchange etc.)
Search for contents and displaying them
Filtered output when generating

User group	Chapter
Administrator	Chapter 2: Describes how to install the module "FirstSpirit Enterprise Connect" on the FirstSpirit Server. Chapter 3: For configuring the module settings must be adjusted in the service component (via the FirstSpirit server and projekt configuration). All required steps are explained using screenshots and examples. In addition, the integration of specific input components into the FirstSpirit JAVAclient is demonstrated. Chapter 5: Describes how to uninstall the components via the FirstSpirit server and projekt configuration.
Developers	Chapter 3: For configuring the module settings must be adjusted in the service component (via the FirstSpirit server and projekt configuration). All required steps are explained using screenshots and examples. In addition, the integration of specific input components into the FirstSpirit JAVAclient is demonstrated.
Editors	Chapter 4: Describes how to use the input component for editors. On the basis of an example the search, the selection of contents within a result list and the generation of the selected objects in FirstSpirit is explained here.
