Basic principles of template development

Each FirstSpirit project bases on so-called "templates". They serve as a kind of framework or structure used to link all contents of a project with each other. Templates are customised for each project individually. There are different kinds of templates. FirstSpirit gathers all templates of a project in the template store. A brief introduction to this subject is provided in the Basic principles chapter.

The Step-by-step chapter introduces the template development in FirstSpirit. Examples are used to quickly show in an uncomplicated way how FirstSpirit can be efficiently used to implement projects. Basing on a demo project this chapter shows how to create a template in FirstSpirit and which effects the single editing options have on the project.
