FirstSpirit CorporateMedia

The aim of the concept of “CorporateMedia” (formerly “Remote-Media”) is to create all media in a separate media project and to manage them centrally in this special project. Via the Remote-Media access all involved FirstSpirit projects can use this media stock (pictures and files).

In contrast to the distribution of media via the PackagePool functionality media of “CorporateMedia” projects need not to be imported into the involved projects but they can be directly referenced via the CorporateMedia access. The objects remain physically in the media project but can be used in all desired projects.

The advantages of the functionality “CorporateMedia” are:

  • No additional memory requirements for media, which are to be utilised in more than one project.
  • Updating and administration becomes easier because all media exist in one central media project.
  • The involved target projects can be generated faster.

The “CorporateMedia” concept is also available for ContentCreator.

If a valid licence exists for the CorporateMedia access it can be activated via the FirstSpirit server and project configuration.

Further information about how to configure and use the CorporateMedia functionality see also chapter Remote access.
